Camp Reel Stories

This summer I volunteered at Camp Reel Stories, a camp for young women and gender-expansive youth to learn the process of filmmaking. The organization believes that if women are better represented behind the scenes, they will be better represented on screen. I led a team of six teenage girls through the process of writing, shooting and editing their own film. They chose the topic (how societal pressures influence the way we dress) and we got to screen the film at the California Theater in Berkeley, CA.
